Sites targeting high resolution displays (high def monitors, retina-display) should prepare assets at twice the actual display size. For example, if there’s a button that will display on a standard screen at 100px wide by 40 px tall with the word “SUBSCRIBE NOW” on it, then the graphic designer should create the button as if it were 200px wide by 80px tall (twice the size of the standard on-screen display size).
